Summer 2022 Update

It’s been a while since we’ve updated so here’s some recent news and a few highlights from the past year:

DEATHFORMS is taking over as the host of Wichita’s All-Ages Goth Dance Party: NiteBeats every second Friday of the month starting on July 8 at MonikaHouse. The first event will feature Mason (DEATHFORMS founder and Remains to be Seen member) DJing as Trash Strata as well as performances and DJ sets from The Sinister Ghouleds. Future line-ups to be announced soon. Reach out to Annie if you are interested in participating.

Check out the newly updated Live Events page for upcoming events from DEATHFORMS including Remains to be Seen shows and NiteBeats events!

Remains to be Seen released a cover of Bliss by Tori Amos as part of At Sea Compilations’ “Freebird – A Tori Amos Tribute” release. An alternate version is also available on Spotify and most streaming platforms.

The DEATHFORMS release of “Stressed to Impress” by Old Man Creaky Bones was included in the top 25 of the Top 100 Cassettes of 2021 by Joyful Union Cassette Blog. Tape is sold-out on our end.

New EP Available from Remains to be Seen

Dark-Pop duo Remains to be Seen has released their second EP of 2019, Where the Tree Meets the Shade.

This three song release explores new sonic territory on Kancel Kult and Call Hope while giving a nod to the past with Now Now, a song originally written for the now dead Domestic Drone.

Currently available exclusively on Bandcamp, Where the Tree Meets the Shade will be available for streaming later in 2019.

Tinder by Remains to be Seen now on Bandcamp

Tinder, a new noise-pop single from Remains to be Seen, is available for streaming and purchase on Bandcamp.

Remains to be Seen is a Dark Electronic Audio Duo featuring Annie Adams (Evasive Flowers, Milkwave) and Mason Monigold (Master Mood TV, Blood Tide.)

Tinder is a noisy take on an as yet unreleased Evasive Flowers live song of the same name – taken to a dark new place with the the addition of Mason’s electronics and production.

The b-side is Angelie, a dark wave take on an unreleased live song from Annie and Mason’s former band, Domestic Drone.

The two track single can be purchased for $2 or streamed a limited number of times for free. The EP will hit streaming services in early March.
